Sandwich U began when the founders noticed the incredible demand for late night grub around Rutgers University. The three founders of Sandwich U decided to expand the concept to other universities and opened their first location at Penn State in 2005 as Are U Hungry. Due to the success of our first location, we opened a second location in State College as well as a third location by West Virginia University in the two years since!

We ARE the Kings of the Fat Sandwich, offering a wide selection of classic sandwiches that are fattened with our combination of mozzarella sticks and fries, as well as our own Sandwich U creations. It is a sandwich like no other that you have had. Our unique sandwich offerings, combined with the college attitude and atmosphere, have led others to try and copy what we do. But no one has been able to duplicate the Kings of the Fat Sandwich.
